Who does not love a good legal drama? Smokey and Jaime certainly do and that's why they received this week's guest with much excitement. Her name is  Felicity Milner and she works as Principal Solicitor with the Environment Defenders Office (EDO), an independent, not-for-profit, community legal service, specialising in public interest environmental law.
 
EDO aim to redress the imbalance in access to legal resources that exists for individuals, community and conservation groups compared to government and business, and to do so they receive funding from a range of sources, including government funding. The way Jaime put it, in his usual fashion of reaching simplistic conclusions, is that they get money from the Government... to sue the Government!

Felicity proved to be a very knowledgeable guest and, even more importantly, she was able to explain different legal concepts and some of the cases that they have worked on recently in a way that even us could understand. :)
